  • aims to prepare safety on machines and plants in a comprehensible and user-appropriate manner and to promote qualified discussion between interested persons.

  • is addressed above all to manufacturers - designers and operators - users as well as consultants for questions concerning safety of machines and plants.

  • current activities:
    • Revision of the brochure "Prevention of mechanical hazards - practical solutions"
    • Completion of the brochure "Correct installation of PLCs (programmable logic controllers)"
    • New and used presses
    • Diagnostic Safety Guide for machines and working installations.
  • publications:
    • Computers in systems performing safety tasks (only in German). This brochure has the objective to explain the peculiarities by using computers in safety related applications and to evaluate them roughly.
    • protective devices at machines: published in German and French, can be ordered here.
    • switching facilities (languages G, F; revised brochure). This publication can be ordered here.
